- In addition to having a great lender to work with, buyers need an experienced home inspector and a lawyer who focuses on real estate law. Ann can provide you with recommendations for both.
- Ann can also recommend contractors for various work that may be needed at your new home: movers, painters, electricians, carpenters, etc.
- Meet with Ann to set up a customized search of the Multiple Listing Service. You will receive email notifications of what homes are available now and updates as new homes come on. Review the home pictures at your convenience and decide which homes you wish to visit in person.
- Make a wish list of the features you are looking for in a home: ie walk to town location, number of bedrooms and baths desired etc
- Consider your timeline. How soon do you need a home? Are you currently renting? When does your lease expire. Once you find a home and have an accepted contract to purchase, know that it can take about 2 months to get the loan processed..
